Today to Read
Yeeesssssssss. This was a book worth missing my bedtime. I'll try to post about it tomorrow. It's the first book by Sharon Shinn that I've read (to my memory) and I'm very pleased with her and the world right now.

I like Summers at Castle Auburn. I haven't read this one, though, so I'll have to try it.

Is Summers at Castle Auburn a stand-alone, or is it part of a series? Is it in the same universe? I was really pleased with everything about this book, from the characters to the world-building, so I'd be quite happy to revisit the country again.

I think it's a stand alone, but I can't swear to that. I actually went through a brief Sharon Shinn phase a few years ago during which I checked out every book I could find in our local library system. The total number was not huge, but I have to say that I enjoyed pretty much all of them. I'd mostly forgotten about her, but I put in a request for Troubled Waters last night after I read your post. Thanks for the reminder!

Please let me know what you think about it when you get to reading it!
