I adore today's xkcd. It makes me squee and squirm in Science Made Stupid kinds of ways.

Also, I am enjoying a reposting of last year's Calamities of Nature, in which Linus explains the true meaning of Christmas to Charlie Brown. As we discussed yesterday while making Christmas cookies, fish and seals are just as legitimate as camels and roosters for cookie subjects...

Humph. Yeah, I hadn't thought about that part, either. I just remember the Alice in Wonderland line "Begin in the middle and work outward. Don't be stuffy." as making the most sense when doing math equations with parentheses.

My favorite one has to be the polycystic ovarian syndrome one, though. It's personally applicable and incredibly funny somehow.
