The power came back on last night at about 8:30 PM.
CK snowblew around my car while I started a fire and got the goats watered. (I started a fire because we are still babying a dying heat pump.)
CK started the dishwasher while I put my chains on my car and cleaned it off.
CK snowblew and cleaned around the heat pumps while I started laundry and then stumbled off to bed.
... And I forgot to mention, we got our long-delayed mail delivery on Sunday. Our mail lady rocks the big one.
This morning was not as much fun. I now have a new phrase - "load-bearing hay bale" - that should explain why it took me almost a half hour extra to feed the goats. I had to cut non-load-bearing bales apart and shimmy each flake down through a hole in the haystack, down under the snow saddle, and out onto my sled to haul out to the goats.
