The random assortment of purchased-and-ignored-until-sprouted potatoes that I planted in one of the half-barrels on the back deck are growing happily. At first glance, I could mistake them for tomato plants at this point. They are about two feet tall and blooming. I added another four inches of dirt to that pot. Happy plants!
I found a couple of little blue-tailed lizards in one of the unused pots on the deck, so I tipped over all of the pots on their sides. I don't want anyone to be trapped!
