Paul and I fancied setting up an evening of Irish Traditional Music at the Seekers Church here in Takoma Park. We'll be featuring Tina Eck and Keith Carr, who play together as Lilt. There will be some Irish dancers there as well. Please come join us to celebrate the shamrock shores and the music thereof. We'll have dessert and coffee for sale (you'll have to bring your own Irish for the coffee, but we'll have the whipped cream). Details follow:
LILT IN CONCERT
TINA ECK AND KEITH CARR
If you went to the Potomac Celtic Festival earlier this summer you may have caught one of the great performances of Irish traditional music by Lilt - the duo of Tina Eck and Keith Carr. Now's your chance to see them again as they perform in concert in Takoma Park. Tina and Keith are both prominent players in the Irish music scene in the Washington DC area; Tina plays the Irish wooden concert flute and tinwhistle, and Keith plays bouzouki, tenor banjo, and mandolin.

Tina and Keith will be joined by dancers from the Culkin School of Irish Traditional Dance, which is one of the nation's premier training academies for championship level dancers. Check out their website at http://www.culkinschool.com.
