It was 13 degrees with 50 mph gusts this morning. The goats were all happy and bouncy to see me anyway. No one seems to be visibly suffering from the cold, and are smart enough to take to the barn to be out of the wind. The big girls were specifically pleased with some warm water to drink this morning, and everyone fell on the hay with gusto. Rumination out of the wind should make today rather pleasant, actually. My only - and very mild - concern is frostbite on ear-ends, but hopefully everyone is old enough to have good blood flow there.
