Grandma & Grandpa's 69th Wedding Anniversary

It was a great evening for a dinner party. We got a private and *quiet* room at La Veranda Italian restaurant. The two "adopted" daughters from forever also came, along with the four daughters. Grandpa is 94 years old, and Grandma is 91. They were both in sufficient possession of their faculties (and Grandpa wore his hearing aids!) for this dinner party to actually be a party of all of us. Grandpa told stories about his daughters' very early years, and Grandma corrected him every other sentence - just like old times. ::laugh:: We ate and talked and smiled and enjoyed a pause in the march of time.
