Anna kidded twin boys today

Anna kidded twin boys in 14 degrees and blowing wind this morning.  One boy is big and brown; one boy is a little black boy with white tips just like Gyre and Gimble from two years ago.  Because of the weather, Achaosofkittens and I each took a baby and a blow-dryer and made sure those boys started life dry if not totally warm.  The big brown boy was the first one to figure out nursing.  The little black boy had a slower start, so I supplimented him with some baby-start and then some warm colustrom mix to make sure he had the energy to burn.

Achaosofkittens put up my new heat lamp, deployed hot water bottles, and set up a hidey-hole bin for them as well. They should be good and warm while they learn how to be successful baby goats today.
