Goats, gripes, and grasping for greatness
Before 9AM
9th-Jun-2012 08:56 am
I've done all of the usual morning chores.
I've weeded another 4'x8' raised bed (bringing the clean-bed total to 2).
I've augmented the two beds with half a wheelbarrow load of goat muck, without suffering any goats escaping from the back field (despite Scout's best efforts).
I've planted two cucumber plants, four basil plants, six marigolds, and six tomato plants. (This adds to the previously planted potatoes, watermelons, and pumpkins.)
I've topped off the potato bins and the pumpkin planter with the other half of the goat muck.
I've cleaned off and put away all of my tools.
I've watered all of the plants, both newly-planted and still waiting.

It's time for shower #1 for today. Then I will do my usual Saturday morning runaround to the post office, dump, and co-op. Rawr, I am mighty today.
