Goats, gripes, and grasping for greatness
It is now, officially, Me-the-Fruit-Bat season!

As of yesterday's trip to our farmer's market, it is officially the start of my Fruitivore season. I bought peaches, cherries, blueberries, and plums. For lunch, I had a huge fruit salad that included all four of my new acquisitions! The only non-local thing in my salad was the last banana from the bunch I bought for my parents' visit.

mmmm FRUIT mmmmm

Also, we purchased a pot of Chinese five-color peppers. They will be quite a colorful addition to the garden. (I don't care how they taste; I don't plan to eat them anyway. They are just cute!)

Why this reminds me, I don't know, but do you want me to send you my copy of Tooth and Nail? I didn't like it enough to reread it, but I'd rather give it to you than the library.

It's actually about the tooth fairy.

Could you e-mail me your address? It also seems to have gone kablooey in the contact clean out.

NOM! I saw plums this weekend and achieved my happy place.

I have never seen purple plums before. Those are gorgeous!

Yeah, I'm thinking that I might buy some to put in pots in the windowsill at work.
