Summer
Yesterday, we celebrated the surprising lack of rain by cleaning out the L-field of the last bits from getting the hay barn replaced. With Achaosofkitten's prodding, we didn't just move piles of stuff from one place to another, but rather sorted and stacked things either in "yes we will keep it" buckets, stacks of fencing inside the new barn, or in the back of the truck "next stop is the dump" piles. I laid out the two big tarps in the yard in the hopes that the rain would help wash them clean. (It poured last night!)

Cookie moved into that field this morning with Anna and Dahlia. Anna was more concerned about having a buddy (Dahlia) than about Cookie being there. The feeling was mutual from Cookie as well. Cookie was more interested in Dahlia, but not rip-snortin' and ready to roll, so I'm guessing neither girl is in heat at the moment.

Both Jessie and Lerris are concerned that Anna has been separated from them. They both spent some time this morning at the fenceline calling for her. She stayed pretty close to them, too. Mona is annoyed that her sister is separated from her, too. We'll see who makes a break for which side of the fence first.
