Goats, gripes, and grasping for greatness
Preliminary damage report
29th-Oct-2012 09:31 pm
Achaosofkittens and I just went out to check on everything and everyone. The goats and llama are still ok, though not happy. However... We have a tree down on the back peak of the house-addition, a tree down on the front pasture gate, and two trees down on the front pasture fence on the far left side of the division. Basically, the front pasture has NO integrity now on either side. CK locked the big boys in their side of the barn. We are trusting the little boys to not want to wander for a good long while yet.

And of course the power is still out.

ETA at 11:15pm - Another tree hit the addition-side of the house. And the power lines are now lying across the driveway with the suspected tree being down the slope at the bottom of the back pasture.

That puts the tree count at six, at least. Tomorrow's photos are going to be epic.

Yikes. I know that you will, but please be careful.

I don't think the little boys can get PAST the tree on the gate, but I could be wrong.

Eep!! Stay safe, please!

Haven't looked outside yet - we just have water in the basement storage area - R probably won't get much sleep tonight. I'm crashing in the family room with all three girls.

Good luck! I'm looking forward to pictures, hoping for a swift cleanup and truly hoping we have no tree pics of our own to add to things.

Egads. I agree with CK the boys are likely to stay close. I hope the addition roof stays intact.
