I can see my house from here!

Guess what! Guess what! Achaosofkittens took me up in his plane today! Ok, it wasn't his plane, but it was his for the day. We flew from the local little airport all the way up and around the house. I could see how accidentally squared off all of our outbuildings are (they actually line up, oddly enough), and we saw the lake over the hill, and the pond on the other side of the road...

I still don't get airsick, and I had no trouble with the heights, so we are good for flying for Thanksgiving if the weather cooperates. I did warn him that I might fall asleep, as I usually do in a moving vehicle with sun on my face.

I didn't want to criticize, but I did finally mention that the only time I had trouble with nerves/tummy was when we were slaloming on takeoff, before the wheels lifted. Achaosofkittens agreed that that was odd, both the wobbles and the fact that it bothered me. It turns out that the front wheel was going flat. Fancy that. I guess my hind brain was trying to tell me to pull the car over and check.

But! Plane! Wheeeeeee!
