Ginger and Alys are home

I picked up Ginger and Alys today. Both of them are in full fleece and pregnant (we think). Alys bred right away on September 8th, so we are expecting kids from her on February 1st. Ginger bred on the 9th, but cycled again on October 1st, which implies she caught the second time. That would give her a due date of February 23rd.

The ride back from Kid Hollow was totally uneventful. The girls don't particularly get along, so there was a lot of shoving in the box every time I stopped at a light. Here's the photo. Alys is on the left. It's interesting how light Ginger is on the top, when her nose is so dark. Her hair near the skin is dark, too (maybe from hormones? Jessie always changed color when pregnant...). She's going to look really interesting about a month after shearing.
