Goats, gripes, and grasping for greatness
The goats are learning llama tricks

Hercules
It appears that Zoe-goat has picked up a llama technique for stealing food. Hercules doesn't like goat horns in his face when he is sneaking goat chow, so he will put his foot into the bowl and pull the bowl towards himself, take a mouthful, then step away as the goats re-group around the bowl. Lather rinse repeat.

After I fed the girls this morning, I did my usual second step of refilling water buckets. While I was doing so, I heard an indignant squeak from Ginger. When I looked over, she was pushing Zoe's head out of a food bowl. That was a normal thing, so I turned back to the water. Then I heard it again. Again, it was Ginger squeaking, but also Ginger shoving Zoe out of the way. This made me suspicious, so I waited and watched. Zoe took a step back from the bowl, reached out a front foot, hooked the edge of the bowl, and zipped it out from under Ginger's nose. Ta-da! It was Zoe's bowl now... *indignant bellow from Ginger* ... until Ginger shoved her out of it again.

I accused Hercules of corrupting a minor.
