Living' in tha country means a LOT of wood for tha takin'

I mentioned yesterday that we had some guys coming out to split wood. With the fences all repaired (but not painted yet) I suppose that we can call this something close to the end of Frankenstorm Sandy, at least for now.

The neat thing about this part of the story is that the guys who split and stacked all of this wood are doing it as favor-trading with a friend, and because they felt like it, and because they are nice guys... This is how country life sometimes happens.

Here are the "just after the storm," "while being removed," and "all gone" photos of the two trees that hit the back of the house. Note the double-wide stack of wood on the right. We had a LOT of wood from those two trees.
