The great lace knitting experiment continues. As of last night, I've completed the first section of the Pavone shawl. I'm knitting it on my own yarn - Summer or Penny, I don't remember who - so it has a lot of spring and curl right now. Amazonmink has offered to help me block it out nicely when I'm done, which is going to be both necessary and good to get some of the bounce to calm down and show off the pattern. Also, megknitsalot has offered to write out the charts for me, since I'm so NOT a visual learner when it comes to actually reading knitting. That will be quite the frustration-saver.
