Goats, gripes, and grasping for greatness
A watched goat never kids...
3rd-Feb-2013 02:10 pm
Summer
Alys is going to kid today. As soon as I saw her this morning, I stopped what I was doing to go watch her give birth. Obviously I can't judge "giving birth" very well. She has been pacing, stomping, lying down, kicking, grinding her teeth... and getting up and eating like nothing is wrong for about four hours straight, now.

I refuse to play the game of sunk costs. I'm done freezing my nose off and am back inside. It is long past time for my morning allergy meds (it's afternoon now) and I have other things to do today.

Edit at 10:00 pm: Alys *just* kidded twins. No, I didn't see it. News and photos tomorrow.

Thanks!

Cute! Very smart. ... Usually my girls kid between breakfast and me leaving for work, or while I'm at work. I've had very few night kids.
