Books: The Gashlycrumb Tinies by Edward Gorey

The Gashlycrumb Tinies, by Edward Gorey. Children's horror. Hardback, 26 pages.

This is Gorey's illustrated alphabet book. It starts "A is for Amy who fell down the stairs." Some of the concepts were quite cute, and others were just odd. I mean, really, who plays mumbly peg with an awl?

I recommend it to people with sick and twisted senses of humor who can joke about odd ways of dying.
