Almost ready for yet more snow (mostly barn edition)
This weekend, we've been to the dump, the co-op, and the grocery store. The goats were all dewormed, and the adult back goats were all deloused. The goats also now have double their normal amount of hay (mostly in the barn) and all of the food bowls are flipped over so they won't fill with rain/snow. For kicks, I swept all of the dry hay off of the concrete pad out back so that it doesn'tx turn to muck quite so quickly. I still need to gas up the truck and stop by Tractor Supply, and get more milk since somehow I managed to miss that I was running low.
The weather report is contradictory right now. Weather.com says 6-10 inches in town, 4-6 inches here. The radio says an inch in town, 2-3 inches out here. Given how often everyone is wrong, I'm preparing for a worse storm in the hopes that it just means fewer chores before work tomorrow.
In the meantime, as it is 40 degrees and only cloudy, Zoe is leading a baby girl excursion out into the front yard for better browsing. Hiiii!
