New York Sheep & Wool Results

Ari took first place in yearling buck but did not advance to champion. Kezzi and Madeline each took third in kid doe and yearling doe respectively (and Fiona took 7th, mostly because she didn't have color that "popped").

Compaired to Shenandoah, Ari did as well within class, and all of the girls did better. So yay for everyone, especially Ari! He is doing very well this season. The judge at this show said that he didn't have the best single trait of anything, but he was the one goat who "put it all together the best." I'll take it!

An interesting and fun twist on this afternoon was that the fair people reopened the south gate to exit traffic this time. (Last year it was closed.) I took that exit, and managed to scoot on the back roads all the way through town and pop out right next to the hotel. Zen navigation for the win!
