Read Irresponsibly
Hey Ho, they must go! I have a box of VERY random stuff that has come into our lives, and needs to go back out. As the newly-arrived books get shelved, other stuff gets bumped. Would you like to adopt a book or two? Or at least, provide the next stopping point on a book's journey through the world? If so, please comment here before next weekend.

Please don't judge me too hard by this list. Remember: this is the list of what is leaving, not what we are keeping.

Steadfast, by Mercedes Lackey (can't even keep it to keep the series intact... It's that disappointing.)

Atlas Shrugged sounds good. Maybe Calamity's Child, based on the title and multiple copies?

What's Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes? Is it actually Greek mythology based?

Any other Sci Fi in there that needs a good home?

They are yours.

Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes is what happens when some myths around the world are reinterpreted according to a standup comedian. It is, for the most part, accurate, but not terribly explanatory. It is also funny and shallow.

The Mad Scientist's Guide is an anthology that has a lot of science fiction. Some of the Fiction River anthologies are more science fiction than others.

The two you mentioned above are headed your way via FireAndEarth. Enjoy!

Oh yay!!! Thank you so much!!!

I'll take the yarn mystery - maybe next time we knit together?
13th-Jan-2014 03:02 pm (UTC)
Absolutely. It was fun. I just don't usually keep mysteries because they aren't great for re-reading.

I found another mystery like it (about quilting? I don't remember now) so I tossed it in the bag for you too.

14th-Jan-2014 02:55 am (UTC)
I've been wanting to read a story from Carniepunk :)
14th-Jan-2014 11:54 am (UTC)
Sure thing. We can do this.
Sorry, it's gone. Apparently I didn't keep track of everything that FireAndEarth took last night. I'm sorry, but this one walked away already. You could ask her for it when she is done...

Guess what? I can't keep track of my books! Carniepunk was *not* gone. So I'll try to get it in the mail to you on Saturday. Yay book!

Looks like most are struck out and hence not available? Political animal is of interest...

You might need to refresh your screen. The only strikeout should be Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes, which Achaosofkittens wants to keep.

You are welcome to Political Animal.
