RIP Cookie-goat

I went out to do the morning goat feeding and found Cookie dead in the pasture. He obviously went off by himself to die, since he wasn't on the way to the water and he wasn't near food. He wasn't nearly as old as Jared, but he'd had some chronic problems and was getting old quickly.

Sire of a Champion

I purchased Cookie from Kid Hollow Farm as a match for Anna (daughter of Jared by Jessie). They had many pretty boys together, and one girl, Kezzi. He also enjoyed time with Dahlia two years ago that resulted in the twins Henry and Maurice. Cookie started out as a very shy and skittish goat, and he only mellowed somewhat along the way. He and Anna got along very well, and he stood stud this past fall with her, so we will see his last legacy in March.

Edited on April 1st: His last kid from Anna was a little girl, born on March 23.


Sancho was born in 2001, Jessie and Summer were born in 2002, and Loki in 2004. Alys, Anna, and Dahlia are all from 2006. Lerris is from 2007..
