And now we have real-live llama drama

I'm ready to be done with animal issues. Just saying.

Hi Dr. [vet],

Did the fecal analysis for Hercules turn up anything interesting? He is acting ok, but I found bloody feces in his size on the ground this evening. Please see the below Still Life of Poo photos.

Of course we are expecting snow all of Tuesday. However, I have a truck. If this sample is important, Achaosofkittens or I will drive it down to your office. Just let me know.

ETA: The vet called. He is thinking it's lower GI irritation - changing diet, changing liquid intake, or "environmental confinement." So, basically, we should keep an eye on Herc and it. If Herc starts looking bad or his poop changes, we should call again. If we want to check his temp, we would be looking for 101 temp or less.

Hmm. I hope he is ok!

He might be? Basically, the vet and I came to the "shit happens" conclusion for now, and to keep an eye on the llama for further changes.
