On Sunday evening, the llama and three goats got out of Jessie's field during hay-feeding when the gate swung all the way open. The three goats were willing to be bribed back inside, but Hercules was not willing to be bribed (chicken chow) or herded. He was, apparently, a little skittish. In the dark. In the rain. With early fireworks going off down the street. He ended up in the L-field for the night, and was moved back to Jessie's field in the daylight.
On Monday afternoon, Ivan got his head stuck in the fence. Taraflutterby discovered this, and wrestled him back out of the fence, in the pouring rain. She didn't require the newly-acquired bolt-cutters to get Ivan loose, but I was glad to know that we had them if she needed them.
Even after this, Taraflutterby is still willing to talk to me. I haven't confirmed that she still wants to host summer camp, though.
