car expectations

I'm definitely not the target market for these radio advertisements for cars these days. While listening to the ads for cars that get a "gas-thrifty" 28 miles to the gallon, I keep coming to the same realization: that I'm in for a vast disappointment if I ever go back to driving a regular car. 28 MPG? ... Twenty-eight miles to the gallon?! I get fifty-three!

... and here I keep thinking fondly of my old RAV-4...
