I saw
whale_girl on Wednesaday, and two neighbors from childhood and their spouses and children on Thursday. This morning Mom reminded me to call A's parents in CT and so I ended up having lunch with A's dad because I was driving right by that house. (Really, it was less than a mile from where I was driving.) I'm now in my hotel for a nap before I meet up with melebeth for fun this evening. Tomorrow I'll be at NY Sheep and Wool where I fully expect to see fortryll, tcepsa, geekpixie, the woman who sold me Alys-goat, other goat people, other fiber people, LJ bloggers, and many more.My hotel is free because it's being paid for by HHonors points I saved up from all my work travel. I have a lovely room that faces the hills covered in fall glory and fading sunlight. Free and beautiful. ::big happy sigh::
