mini pigs that never grow up to be porkers would be a good choice for a small area.
mini silky goats - I saw an article about them in the latest Hobby Farms magazine. I bet their publicity is soaring right now!
Scottish highland cow - there are some of these in my "neighborhood" that look like a cross between cattle and winter-coat bears.
And of course I'd want a couple of jacob sheep again, and a pony or two, and some chickens/guineas/ducks/fowl of some sort, and outdoor cats (away from the birds)...
