Another case of mistaken e-mail identity

Hi, [my first name] -

Please confirm the e-mail address that you are going to check on a regualr basis from Ecuador...

Hi Mr. Bedford.

I hate to tell you this, but [e-mail address] is going to [personal details] and is currently still in the USA. While I have been to Ecuador, I'm definitely not there now.

I'm sure you are a great Dad, but I already have a fabulous one of my own. When you do get in touch with your daughter, please confirm what her gmail address really is. I'd hate for you to not hear all the great stories. I hope she gets to go to the Galapagos, or at least to the jungle. Banos is lovely any time of year, too.

Regards,
the other [my name]

His response was quick in coming:

Thank you for your reply, [my name] -

I'll be sure to let my [my name] know that she has been preceded in Ecuador by another [my name].

We did resolve the phone issue late last night.

Thanks,
the other fabulous father, but from Bedford, MA.
