Current Operations Specialist
Position Status: Permanent Full Time

Duties: The Current Operations Specialist (COS) is responsible for assisting in planning, coordination, and execution of programs; managing and organizing databases; conducting analysis, creating briefings presented to General Officers, upper management military and civilian officials; collecting and organizing data; preparing and writing senior level correspondence; coordinating Staff Actions and issuing taskings; answering inquiries from Regions and Garrisons; developing and maintaining content on applicable AKO portal.

Experience: Must have 5-7 years of progressive experience. Qualified candidates must have management, analytical, organization, and communication skills to effectively brief and interact with Senior Army Military and civilian leadership, to include general officers (GO) and Senior Executives Service (SES) personnel. Having an understanding of the relationship of installation support services to how Army Operations and Mobilization activities and programs are executed at installation level is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent demonstrated knowledge)

Special Requirements: Viable candidates must have, at minimum, an active Secret security clearance and will be subject to a background investigation.


Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives Specialist
Position Status: Permanent Full Time
Working Hours: Monday-Friday
Location: Arlington, VA
Clearance: Secret

Duties: The CBRNE Specialist shall assist in managing the Army Emergency Management/Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE) Program. The CBRNE Specialist shall serve as a member of the FPWG. The CBRNE Specialist shall identify relevant emergency management/CBRNE topics for discussion, seeking Region input, obtain AT Branch Chief approval and provide this information to the Force Protection Analyst for incorporation into the FPWG before it is disseminated to the FPWG members. The CBRNE Specialist shall
prepare and provide content of the FPWG emergency management/CBRN slides and be able to brief and discuss relevant issues with the senior leadership, obtain AT Branch Chief approval and provide this information to the Force Protection Analyst in sufficient time to ensure incorporation into the FPWG briefing.

The CBRNE Specialist shall participate in the quarterly ES Division VTCs and provide assistance in identifying topics and preparing emergency management/CBRNE slides IAW the ESD established suspense. The CBRNE Specialist shall coordinate with HQDA for emergency management/CBRNE equipment fielding, maintaining situational awareness of the types of equipment being fielded, fielding timelines and the status of installations with regard to the type of equipment on-hand and their standing in the fielding schedule, and shall assist the Senior Force Protection Analyst in managing emergency management/CBRNE manpower requirements and VIPP funding. The CBRNE Specialist shall coordinate the Army's participation in the Annual HQDA Emergency/Management/CBRNE Training Conference. The CBRNE Specialist shall provide guidance to Region and Installation emergency management/CBRNE personnel concerning conference registration requirements and assist them to successfully resolve any registration problems encountered. The CBRNE Specialist shall provide a weekly updated list of Army attendees to the ES Deputy once registration opens. The CBRNE Specialist shall prepare the Army emergency management/CBRNE Briefings and submit to the ES Deputy for approval
NLT 30 days prior to the event. The CBRNE Specialist shall prepare, obtain ES Deputy approval, and disseminate an After Action Report (AAR) NLT 30 days after the end of the conference, seeking input from participants.

The CBRNE Specialist shall assist in the implementation of Common Levels of
Support (CLS) to include:
- Cross-walking the Schedule 75s Emergency Management/CBRNE Army Management Structure Codes (AMSCOs) within the AR 37-100 choices into the CLS 75 Service Support Program (SSP) with adherence to Army HQ CLS implementation guidance and timelines.
- Assist in the establishment of draft guidance for approval, and once approved provide guidance to the Regions/Installations for adjusting service delivery under CLS. Develop a list of those services that providers would and would no longer provide under each capability level (CLS), i.e., "Green", "Amber", and "Red".
- Update annual implementation guidance and conduct quarterly validations for Service 75 within the Army Plans established suspense's. The CBRNE Specialist shall prepare a monthly emergency management/CBRNE update and submit as input to the monthly AT Warrior ES Defenders Update which is published NLT the 7th of each month. The CBRNE Specialist shall coordinate with HQDA and assist in managing the Army Emergency First Responder Program (AEFRP), maintaining situational awareness of the types of equipment being fielded, fielding timelines and the status of installations with regard to the type of equipment on-hand and their standing in the fielding schedule, shall assist in establishing and executing video teleconferences (VTCs) with the Regions to coordinate AEFRP issues, and shall provide information to the installations on AEFRP issues, to include educating them on the best AEFRP practices and technologies, and guiding them to implement AEFRP policy and guidance. The CBRNE Specialist shall assist in managing the Army's AT and Emergency Management /CBRNE Manpower Requirements by working closely with HQDA to identify and document Army HQ, Region and Installation emergency management/CBRNE manpower requirements on respective TDAs and during the documentation window.

Experience: Must have 12 years of progressive experience in Anti-terrorism/ Force Protection with at least 2 years of ACOM or higher staff experience in CBRNE operations. Qualified
candidates must have working knowledge of Installation Protection Programs (IPP) and Army Emergency First Responder Programs (AEFRP)

Education: Masters Degree (or equivalent demonstrated knowledge)
